Turner Creek Falls

The cache is at Turner Creek Falls which is about 3.5 miles up Vinal creek trail. A waterfalls with a 50 foot drop that marks the end of Turner creek. From here Turner creek joins Vinal creek to start it’s decent down to the Yaak river. Turner Creek Falls is about 3.5 miles up the Vinal creek trail. The trailhead for Vinal Creek trail is 6 miles up Vinal Lake road #746. The trail follows the creek all the way to the falls and is relatively flat with a few small hills and is great for kids. You will cross numerous bridges during your walk to the falls. You will also be able to see the aftermath of the wildfires of 2000. The Vinal creek trail continues on to Fish Lakes which is about a mile away.
