Davis Mountain Lookout Cache

The cache is located at the top of Davis Mountain at 6000 feet.

The trip to the top of the mountain is about 2.5 miles and the trail is well maintained. The vertical gain is about 1000 feet. The lookout tower is a metal tower and an old cabin is still standing. It’s worth going up just to see the old cabin. From the top you have a good view of the northern Fisher River area and east into the Flathead National Forest.
